Anek Lines
ANEK LINES, one of the most renowned ferry companies in Greece, operates routes between Piraeus and Crete, as well as between Greece and Italy.
Founded in 1967, ANEK LINES has been providing high-quality services to its passengers, earning several awards for its services and vessels. In 2023, the company joined the Attica Group, and its services are now offered in collaboration with SUPERFAST FERRIES, which is also part of the Attica Group.
In collaboration with SUPERFAST FERRIES, ANEK LINES operates routes from mainland Greece to the ports of Crete and Italy. Some of the main routes offered by ANEK LINES are:
- Piraeus – Heraklion
- Piraeus – Chania
- Patras – Igoumenitsa – Bari
- Patras – Igoumenitsa – Ancona
- Patras – Igoumenitsa – Venice
The fleet of ANEK LINES consists of some of the most remarkable Greek ships. The flagship of the company is ELYROS, offering exceptional services to passengers, while the rest of the fleet includes the following vessels: EL. VENIZELOS, KISSAMOS, HELLENIC SPIRIT, ASTERION II, KRITI I, KRITI II, KYDON, and PREVELIS. All vessels feature comfortable public areas, including restaurants, cafes, and shops, garages for vehicles, special cabins for people with disabilities, and facilities for travelers with small children or pets.
ANEK LINES provides special discounts for specific passenger categories, including:
- Children under 5 years old:
- 100% in Economy Class, with the obligation to issue a zero-fare ticket
- 50% in Cabins and Aircraft Type Seats
- Children from 5 and one day up to 12 years old: 50% on all passenger fares
- International Student Identity Card “ISIC” holders.
- 50% on all passengers’ fares, except LUX cabins
- 20% on Cars & Motos in Piraeus-Chania route
- 20% on Cars & Motos in Piraeus-Heraklion route
(The discount applies also to the Foreign Universities & the Private Schools – it doesn’t apply to High School students). It is mandatory to show your ISIC Card when issuing your tickets and when boarding the ship. The discount also applies to unaccompanied cars & motorcycles, only if the vehicle’s registration certificate is in the student’s name.
