How to Get to Lipsi
By ferry
Lipsi is connected by ferry to Piraeus, as well as to Leros, Patmos, Rhodes, Kos, and the other Dodecanese islands. The journey from Piraeus takes approximately 8–9 hours, depending on the intermediate stops.
Chora
The town of Lipsi is built amphitheatrically around the picturesque harbor, climbing up to the nearest hill where the old Arabis windmill stands proudly. The whitewashed houses with blue shutters and the cobbled streets create an authentic island atmosphere, leading to the central square which hosts the Town Hall, the Post Office, and Italian-era buildings from the occupation period.
