Special Offers for Newly Admitted University Students – 2025
Blue Star Ferries is pleased to offer exclusive discounts to students who have successfully gained admission to Greek Universities (AEI) through the 2025 Panhellenic Examinations.
Until students receive their official Student Identification Card, the following discounts are available to facilitate their initial travel for registration and accommodation arrangements.

Piraeus – Chania & Heraklion routes (excluding Blue Star Chios sailings)
Validity: 25 July 2025 – 31 October 2025

50% discount on all passenger seats*
20% discount on private cars and motorcycles
The same discounts apply to family members accompanying the admitted student. The return journey may also be discounted even without the student, provided that they traveled together on the outbound leg.
To qualify, passengers must present the following documents:
The “2025 Panhellenic Examinations Candidate Slip” (or a photocopy thereof), and
Proof of successful university admission for 2025, as displayed on the official website: https://results.it.minedu.gov.gr/
Important Notes
The discount does not apply to LUX cabins.
All tickets must be cancelled or converted to Open Date collectively, not individually.
In the event of a change in travel date, if the fare schedule has been updated or the offer period has expired, any fare difference applicable to the corresponding seat category must be paid.
The discount does not apply to individual berths within shared cabins.
Discounts cannot be combined with any other offers. Only one discount—the highest applicable percentage—will be applied in each case.
Discounts will be granted upon presentation of the required documentation (Candidate Slip and proof of admission) both when issuing tickets at partner travel agencies and during embarkation. Presentation of the Candidate Slip (or a photocopy) is mandatory for both outbound and return travel.
The same discounts also apply to candidates admitted through the 10% quota in the 2025 Panhellenic Examinations, upon presentation of the printed Proof of Admission.
